My work is best described as a constant disruption of continuities. Continuity of meanings, materiality, spaces and even of my own working methods. I call the resulting objects urban interventions because they mostly occupy urban spaces and modify or emphasize their meaning.
I am fascinated by the materiality of textiles. They confront the rigidity and usability of public architecture/infrastructure with tenderness and dynamic. For me this resembles a juxtaposition of prose and poetry. It is the in between, that becomes focus of my artistic exploration.
